Mobius Building Consultancy measures up a World Record attempt in support of Mind

Mobius Building Consultancy is supporting a World Record attempt in September 2020 to help raise much needed funds for Mind.

As Mind themselves describe, the global pandemic is bringing about a mental health emergency.  Isolation, illness, loss and anxiety related to Covid-19 bears its own challenge to mental health, but amongst this backdrop, many of those in most need of support cannot or do not access it.

Mind helps ensure that services are accessed by those that need it, removing stigma and promoting understanding of mental health in all settings and it makes a difference every day; we jumped at the opportunity to help.

The World Record attempt

Phil Payne, a postmaster from Sussex, will attempt to break the world record for the total amount of ascent and descent on foot in a day – approximately 18,000 metres.  This will be attempted on the steepest section of road in the county – Cob Lane in Ardingly.

Mobius Building Consultancy’s Director, Ben Strange will officially measure the vertical distance of the course.
